Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
My insightful nature and non-judgmental therapeutic stance can help clients identify personal problems and find solutions. I’ve supported children, adolescents and adult clients facing emotional disturbances, family changes during deployment, deportation, and divorce, school-related concerns, hindered communication and decision making, substance misuse, self-doubt and acceptance challenges, and adjusting to new and unplanned life changes. I’m well equipped to engage children/adolescents by actively listening and responding to their distinctive struggles. My graduate research focused on the experiences of mixed hearing- deaf families and I look forward to working with hearing parents of children with deafness.
I can support you by acknowledging and navigating the unique challenges and triumphs of your family dynamic. Integrative, relational and strength-based values paired with Narrative and Solution-Focused models, Play Therapy, and trauma-informed tools allow me to collaboratively create distance between you and the problems you experience.
Besides offering professional therapy I serve as an Adjunct Professor at Alliant International University and Argosy University, teaching Chemical Dependency and Parent/Child Therapy courses. I’ve found my passion and would be honored to join your journey towards greater life satisfaction.
