Job Title: Part Time Certified Occupational Therapist

Employee classification: Part-Time, non-exempt, hourly.

Location: Petaluma, CA


Basic Responsibilities:

The Occupational Therapist (OT), will work as a member of a team, to provide occupational therapy and sensory integration evaluations and treatment to clients with Autism Spectrum or other Neurodevelopmental Disorders. The OT will evaluate all assigned clients and develop, implement and modify treatment plans in accordance with the patient’s needs. The Occupational Therapist will provide services to clients in home, clinical and community settings providing sensory processing and adaptive skills, participate in diagnostic and independent educational evaluations, and provide individual, and/or small group therapist in a clinic setting.

Qualifications:

● Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy
● Current Registration with American Occupational Therapist Association
● NBCOT passed or pending
● Demonstrate good judgment, decision-making, and communication skills.
● Exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
● Must relate well to children and their families.
● Very good working knowledge in all applicable computer programs (Microsoft Office)

 Requirements

● Ability to travel locally with reliable transportation, maintains driving record in compliance with Transportation Safety  Standards, and must have and maintain proper auto insurance and vehicle registration.
● Read and refer to Clinical Staff Orientation Handbook
● DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance
● Ability to obtain CPR certification
● Tuberculosis Test
● Proof of valid driver’s license and car insurance

Regular Wage: $28-38 per hour.
