Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist
Trang Phan received her Master’s in Counseling & Jungian Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She has obtained advanced training in evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Incredible Years positive parenting and child therapy. In addition to her psychotherapy career, she received extended studies in Eastern medicine and philosophy and is a former bodywork therapist.
Trang’s work is driven by the following values: holism, compassion, authenticity, acceptance, mindfulness, and responsibility. She believes that healing begins with connection and a supportive environment, and that within each of us is our greatest guide. Her mindful and solution-focused approach supports clients in developing proactive strategies, while she is equipped with interventions to help dismantle negative beliefs and resolve traumatic memories. Trang is especially interested in working with adults coping with life transitions.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling and being outdoors with her husband and son.
