Prior to beginning her RPA with FGTC, Amy completed clinical practicums as a Psychological Intern at Lomi Psychotherapy Clinic in Santa Rosa, California, and at Village Analytic in New York City, where she provided psychotherapy in psychoanalytic and integrative settings.
Amy holds a master’s degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Sonoma State University and a bachelor’s degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies. She primarily works with adults and couples and also has experience with teens and families. Her specialties include complex childhood trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Her therapeutic approach integrates Emotion-Focused Therapy and Imago Therapy for couples work, along with psychodynamic therapy, somatic awareness, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, developmental psychology, family systems, and attachment theory. As a therapist, Amy is committed to creating a safe space where clients can explore their experiences—through thoughts, emotions, and somatic awareness—to gain greater insight and clarity in their lives.
