Jane Rossi

Developmental Therapist in the Petaluma Office

Hi, I'm Jane! I grew up in Silicon Valley, but for the past 10 years, Sonoma County has been my home. I hold associate degrees in Psychology and Social & Behavioral Sciences from Santa Rosa Junior College, and I'm currently pursuing my bachelor's in Psychology at Sonoma State University. I have worked as a service dog trainer for over 8 years, and in June 2025, I joined the Family Guidance and Therapy Center. It has been a joy and a privilege to be part of a team that reimagines what it means to support neurodivergent people, meeting clients and their families with compassion and understanding.

As someone on the autism spectrum, I bring both lived experience and professional insight to my work as a developmental therapist. Advocacy is at the heart of my work. I strive to help each client adapt to new challenges, build meaningful connections, and realize their full potential. I'm passionate about creating home, school, and community environments where clients feel seen and empowered to thrive.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking with my dogs, playing bass guitar, painting landscapes, and cooking. I also love playing card games, video games, and cozying up to watch movies with my cat. I'm a foodie as well; it's a dream of mine to travel and try foods from all over the world!
