Jesse Lucia
Developmental Therapist in the Petaluma Office

I graduated from Sonoma State University in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and am currently pursuing a Master’s in School Counseling at SSU. Prior to beginning my graduate studies, I completed a Therapeutic Game Master Program in August 2025. I also serve as a crisis counselor for youth, a position I’ve held since 2024. In all my work, I focus on creating a genuine, supportive environment where clients can explore emotions, develop their identities, and heal through mentorship and interpersonal connection. I believe deeply in each person’s potential for growth and strive to help my clients tap into that every day.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my work is leading our Dungeons & Dragons therapeutic groups. As the Dungeon Master, I use the game to help clients build social skills, process emotions, and reduce stress in a fun, engaging way. It’s inspiring to see how shared adventures can spark meaningful personal growth.
When I’m not guiding adventures in the therapy room, you’ll likely find me playing Dungeons & Dragons (surprise!), painting, bike riding, or enjoying board games with friends. I love embracing adventure and joy in all areas of life, whether I’m with my wife, family, friends, or our two mischievous cats.
