Job Title: Medical Biller/Receptionist

Employee classification: Part-Time, non-exempt, hourly

Rate of Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour


Specific Responsibilities:

Accountable to the Administrative Director. Medical Biller/Receptionist will work with out billing team who are responsible for claim submission, data entry, auditing and correcting claims, reviewing EOB’s received. The Medical Biller/Receptionist will work in collaboration with the other Admin Assistant’s and Contract’s Manager to make sure that program operations run smoothly.


  • Claim submissions via CentralReach
  • Assist/Develop monthly reporting reports
  • Ability to make suggestions for enhancements throughout the department
  • Answer phone calls and schedule appointments for multiple providers
  • Coordinate staff schedules
  • Request authorizations for mental health services
  • Collecting copays and payment information
  • Enter new clients in software
  • Create and organize client file
  • Confirm new intake appointments
  • Order and maintain office supplies
  • Other day to day office tasks not listed above


  • 2+ years of CPT and ICD-10 coding, preferably with behavioral health services
  • Minimum 2 years of college preferred
  • Experience with CentralReach database is strongly preferred
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Google Suite
  • Computer literate and good typing skills required
  • Online management system/database experience required
  • Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
