Therapy, at its core, is a journey of shared humanity. You are not a diagnosis, but a human being, with really good reasons for how you got to this point in life. Honoring the ways you have survived your pain cultivates your self-acceptance which is essential to my approach. Whether you're caught in patterns of self-criticism, over-intellectualizing emotions/experiences, struggling in relationships, or trapped in cycles of racing & catastrophic thoughts, I want you to know that you are not meant to go through it alone. Together we can work to transform negative patterns, while fostering resilience and empowerment.
My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, grounded in attachment theory, drawing from evidence-based models such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), MIndfulness, parts work, and at times, a touch of dark humor. I enjoy relating authentically with clients rather than a blank presence.
I tailor my sessions to meet your specific needs, honoring your story and allowing you to progress at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we will uncover the strength and wisdom already present within you.
